My background includes research in both industry and academic settings across chemistry and geoscience disciplines. I have experience teaching general chemistry I & II, organic chemistry I & II, nursing chemistry, Earth science I, petrology, mineralogy, and environmental geology at the university level. At the high school level, I have taught environmental science, AP environmental science, chemistry, honors chemistry, and AP chemistry.
My teaching style is discussion-based, where I try to make the subject more relatable to the student. I have found that when science is discussed with examples, using my personal experiences, students are able to grasp concepts better.
