From 2013-2015 I was an advisor at an extended-foster-care organization. A large part of my job there was tutoring college-age students on material from high school courses, GED study courses, and introductory courses for their AA.
Since then I’ve graduated from UCF with a Biomed degree, minoring in Psychology. I received A’s in classes such as Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, College Physics, Anatomy, Calculus, and all psych/soc classes I took.
After graduating, I worked for a year in a biostatistic lab, eventually publishing my research.
I’m currently accepted to medical school—I was able to score a 520 on the MCAT with self-study only.
I’ve maintained a blog for the past year and a half. Now I am writing a book at the request of a Christian publishing company. Needless to say, I am also happy to help with coursework related to English, writing, and literature.
Though not directly related to science or math tutoring, I have also taught Sunday School and mentored youth for the past 7 years at my local church. So I shouldn’t be that rusty when it comes to teaching!
