I have taught Algebra I, Algebra II, PreCalculus, Geometry, and Trigonometry in public and private schools for 13 years. I also have worked as a virtual math teacher with a leading online high school for 2 years. I taught General Education Math courses for adults at a private college and have taught hybrid math courses in a computer lab setting. I have worked as a math tutor in a college computer lab setting. I currently hold a Professional Educator’s Certificate. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics and a Masters Degree in Postsecondary Educational Technology.
I have been very successful in helping students raise their scores on End of Course State Assessments, SAT, ACT, and PERT. I have been very successful in helping students increase their course grades and overall G.P.A. I have developed math curriculum for use in learning programs on the IPAD. In addition to my 13 years of teaching experience, I have tutored students for 16 years.
Before I started teaching, I was employed as a Data Analyst for an Environmental company, and I previously worked as a Technical Analyst for a well-known bank. I also have worked in the finance industry.
I love to help students develop a sense of personal inner appreciation for the development of their own skills, successes, achievements, and personal goals. I understand the commitment and discipline in takes to be successful academically. I really love to see students do well in math.
