I hold a Bachelor’s in Social Sciences (Arts, History and Literature) and a Master’s in Education
I have been an educator for over 25 years in positions ranging from the college level to corporate business. I have a vast experience in the classroom; face to face and virtual with different levels of students and trainees and in the design and assessment of instructional material.
I was a part time professor at Ana G. Mendez University System in Miramar, Florida, a university dedicated to teaching bilingual adults (Received Professor of the Year Award 2013). Furthermore, I am a professor at Distance Learning Systems Indiana, teaching on line (real time) students working toward their RN or BSN Certificate in courses of Humanities and History
I am a clear communicator, mastering two languages, English and Spanish. I am a strong believer in the capacity of individuals to be successful. I use data and needs assessment to understand the progress of students or trainees, which in turn helps inform the next steps in the learning process.
As a life-long learner, I keep current in best practices through my affiliations with several professional organizations and professional development courses.
I can, certainly, make a valuable contribution to reaching your goals with the highest level of professionalism.
