I have graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor's Degree in Math Education. I have tutoring experience in all levels of math and have worked in an inner city High School for five years, where I have taught Intensive Math, Algebra I, Algebra II, and Geometry.
I am a dedicated in closing the education gap in our country, and one of the ways I can do this is focus on improving learning for all my students, helping my students persist through difficulties and setbacks, and always celebrating their accomplishments.
As a teacher I know students crave and yearn for one on one instruction within the classroom. I understand how important it is to make sure I make my student's tutoring experience a positive enviornment. I am passionate about teaching, whether its helping for homework, preparing for an exam, or completing some extra work. It is my mission to help your child succeed in math, and it's okay if your child dislikes math!
