I have over 19 years of corporate financial experience working as a financial analyst, a senior investment accountant, and a real estate portfolio manager. I have also worked extensively in nonprofit serving in leadership roles such as the Executive Vice President for the Metropolitan Orlando Urban League and Chief Development Officer for Snug Harbor Cultural Center in New York City.
I actually began teaching in 2007 as an associate faculty member for several colleges and universities throughout Central Florida. In 2009 I accepted a short-term teaching assignment for Methodist University College Ghana. While there, I served as the vice-chair for the university’s small business incubator taskforce committee and as a contributor for a dual degree program with the Australian Business Institute. Throughout my career, I’ve developed a series of technical workshops such as Grant Writing 101 and Funding Your Nonprofit, as well as contributing to instructional designs for both green management and international business.
I hold a Bachelor of Science in Liberal Studies from the University of Central Florida and an MBA with a concentration in Finance from Walden University. I am currently pursuing a Doctorate in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix. My dissertation focuses on understanding the critical factors that affect the success of women owned businesses in Ghana.
