My experience tutoring includes mostly fellow classmates who weren't able to keep up with a professor's teaching pace or had a hard time understanding a concept. I strongly believe the extra help and time spent learning something, no matter how difficult it may seem, can make a difference on your outlook on the subject matter. Understanding content helps you mold an appreciation for it and utilize it effectively in life.
I've completed my Associates in Arts and my A.S. in Graphic Design and currently work as a freelance Graphic Designer/ Photo Editor, and also pursuing my B.A. in Digital Media. I have coded my own websites and manage my own business (social media account, branding, packaging, business cards etc). I also use what I've learnt to make personalized cards or gift packaging. Why buy/pay for something when you can make/do it yourself?
I have managed to maintain a 4.0 GPA whilst completing my A.S. in Graphic Design which included certifications in Graphic Design Production and Graphic Design Support. I worked on my college's literary and arts magazine for a few semesters as Photography Editor, Social Media Managing Editor and then Editor-in-Chief. I have also won two photography awards and helped the magazine gain over 15 awards during my semester as Editor-in-Chief.
