I have multiple areas of knowledge and skills: I taught Human Anatomy and Physiology Laboratory at Ohio University, and Entomology at Wilmington College. I am presently teaching honors anatomy and physiology at Celebration High School in Florida. I am able to tutor in areas dealing with Human Anatomy and Physiology, Medical Laboratory Science, Herpetology, Entomology, and most Education courses.
Anatomy and Physiology: I taught A/P laboratory at Ohio University for the prenursing program. I lectured A/P at both the college and high school level. I have a graduate certificate in Human Medical Physiology.
Health Sciences, Medical Laboratory Science: I was a medical laboratory scientist for 20 years, 10 years as a shift supervisor.
Herpetology: I have taken multiple graduate courses, I have done herp field work for the past 15 years. Presently I am a volunteer biologist at Archbold Biological Station, assisting with the gopher tortoise research.
Entomology: I taught one course on insects at Wilmington College for the agriculture students. I have published short research articles on some beetle studies.
Education: my PhD is in Education with a focus on science. I am very good with qualitative research and publishing. I am good with theory. My research is focused on aspects of experiential learning.
I have also taught study skills to undergraduate students. It is amazing how their grades soared after they developed quality learning skills!!!
