Hello there! My name is Alex, a graduate from Florida Atlantic University. I am currently a UX/UI Optimization Strategist. I have an extensive background in the Japanese language—over 13+ years.
I lived in Japan and attended 関西外大 (Kansai Gaidai University). For reference, we were required to take a Japanese language course as a foreign exchange student. The levels were 1-7, with 7 being the highest level. Despite never being to Japan prior to this, I was the only student coming in that semester that made it to level 7. I am extremely passionate about the language, and the way I have learned it—and now teach it—is unique. I am a proponent of learning a language from the point of a view of a native speaker, and that is the foundational principal that I follow in my teaching.
