About Elizabeth

The most exciting part of tutoring is learning about your student and helping him or her reach full potential. My passion for tutoring stems from this learning process. It is incredibly rewarding to see the moment of understanding in a student and hear about their later progress in a once challenging subject.

Through tutoring I hope to assist my students in developing their own strategies to tackle difficult subjects or concepts. I take time to get the know the student before designing a lesson plan to specialize my teaching in a way that will best utilize their personal strengths.

I double majored in Biochemistry/Molecular Biology and Computer Science in college and graduated Summa Cum Laude with Honors. I was top in all of my science classes throughout high school and undergraduate. I also have extensive experience tutoring science subjects at both the college and high school levels through on campus tutoring centers.

I am available for tutoring every weekday after 5 pm and weekends from 9 am- 5pm. I am able to commute through the DC Metro system to students or meet them online. I look forward to meeting you and helping you with your studies!
