Hello, I'm Faye. I'm an enthusiastic about tutoring and recently received my PhD student in biology from MIT. I hold a BS in biochemistry magna cum laude and minored in chemistry and Russian studies. From as early as my freshman year in college I've been privileged to help tutor classmates and friends in subjects as varied as physical chemistry, Russian, and biology.
I spend a lot of my free time working as a volunteer tutor ( when I'm not dancing :) ) with underprivileged elementary, middle and high school students - currently with the Cambridge School Volunteers organization-struggling in math and science. I'm extremely patient, attentive, and flexible in adapting to different learning styles. I also a firm believer that much growth can come from deliberate practice and review. My main goal is to help those I work with establish a firm knowledge base of the subject matter at hand. Looking forward to working with you!
