Hey! I have a Master's in Development Economics from the Fletcher School at Tufts University, and a Bachelor's degree from the University of Minnesota in both the Spanish Language and Anthropology. I've worked as an Archaeologist in the Midwest, a High School English Teacher in Indonesia while serving in the Peace Corps, and spent a year studying abroad in Copenhagen, Denmark. I'm fluent in Spanish and Indonesian, and conversant in Danish and Portuguese.
While at Minnesota I worked as a professional tutor to ten separate students, ages 6-19, in the fields of Math and language arts for ESL learners, along with adults who wanted to develop their Spanish skills. I'm fascinated by the world, passionate about art and music, and I feel that my global perspective and easy going attitude will help even the most hesitant learner succeed.
