-- Summary --
I want to help you succeed as I've done with countless other students. While receiving my Master's in Economics and Mathematics from Cornell University and the University of Florida, I had the opportunity to teach and tutor everything, including College Algebra, Pre-Calculus, Calculus I-III, Linear/Abstract Algebra, Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, International Trade, Labor Economics and more.
While a successful economist for the federal government, I have a passion for teaching and helping students excel. I help you learn the why behind the equations and aided many to achieve grades they did not think were possible. I believe that you can do anything you put your mind to and am excited to be part of your journey.
-- My Story --
Teaching and helping you excel is my passion. I began tutoring when I was in middle school and haven't stopped since. After teaching Pre-calculus, Calculus and College Algebra at the University of Florida with glowing feedback (4.9 out of 5 by over 400 students), I went on to each economics at Cornell University with the same great reception. I have graduated with a Masters in Mathematics from the University of Florida and a Masters in Economics from Cornell University.
But this is about you, right? I want to help you gain the confidence you need to succeed by helping you become comfortable with math. You may hate math or economics now, but all my students end our sessions loving it... and you can too!
I am energetic, open, patient and most importantly -- focused on your success. I create individual-specific study plans, handouts, flashcards, practice exams and anything necessary to tailor every session for you.
Loving math all my life, I've become a translator of boring, confusing math for you. I excelled in math during my Bachelors and Masters degrees at the University of Florida on a full ride and I had the opportunity to teach various math courses. With each course, my class averages were higher than the other sections with glowing reviews (4.9 out of 5 for over 400 students).
Let me make the same happen for you.
I believe economics is the mathematics of people, so naturally, I loved economics and showing my students how they already know the economic concepts we teach. During my Masters degree in economics at the Cornell University, I enjoyed helping students understand opportunity costs and exchange rates like learning 2+2. Students often left other sections of microeconomics to join mine with stunning reviews as well (4.9 out of 5 for over 200 students).
Together, you can master economics too.
