My name is Teddy Wessel, and I am a recent graduate of Colby College. I received my degree in honors mathematics, specializing in Abstract Algebra and Number Theory. I am capable of tutoring any course in mathematics at the high school level.
I frequented the education department at Colby. Thus, I am very familiar with the process of conveying information through teaching, and I am also aware of how differently each human being learns and develops skills. Math in particular can be taught in a variety of ways, and helping to rephrase textbooks or reorient lecture/class notes is a specialty of mine.
I was also a teaching assistant (TA) during my senior year for Vector Calculus and Mathematical Reasoning. I led TA lectures, helped students with problems, and graded assignments during that year.
For the past 2 and half years I have been working at a liability estimations firm in dc. I build regression models, work with clients data in excel and access, and predict trends for litigation environments.
