I am a passionate and experienced teacher that loves walking alongside students in their educational journey. After earning both my Bachelor's and Master's degrees in the education field, I went on to work in the public school system for over 6 years at the elementary and middle school levels. I decided to take a break from my official career when my 3 children were born and began home-educating them when they reached school age. I have been providing instruction for all 3 of my children for over 6 years now while tutoring elementary through high-school aged children part-time. I love working with younger students on comprehension, phonics, and in all the stages of learning to read, while I love working with older students on classic literature, assigned readings for school, essay assignments, and SAT prep.
