About Stacy

Hi everyone :) My name is Stacy. I love working with children and have been doing so professionally since I graduated from (what was then) Saint Joseph College in 2000. I graduated with my Bachelor's in Special Education. I immediately took the PRAXIS exams in Special Education and Elementary Education and passed them both the first time around! I became certified in both areas but did allow them to lapse. I now work at a preschool/daycare with toddler aged children but I have kept up with common practices in the elementary schools. I will seek out many ways to teach your child the skills they need for success. If you ask any of my bosses or co-workers they will tell you this is one of my strengths.
Even before college and the PRAXIS I knew I wanted to work with children. I have been volunteering in classrooms ever since I was in fifth grade. Some of these classrooms were special education while others were regular education. All of my experience is elementary aged or younger. This is the age I have always wanted to work with.
