As an incoming medical student and former journalist and researcher, my interests are varied and my curiosity is piqued by a plethora of subjects. I am voracious in my quest for new knowledge, and love helping others explore topics that interest them. More importantly, I am enthusiastic in developing methods in understanding and learning. As a tutor, I think it is important to attack material from multiple angles and perspectives. This helps me understand where holes in understanding are, and develops the skill set necessary for acing assessments and maintaining that knowledge for a lifetime. I specialize in the MCAT, and have helped dozens of students work their way to success. Outside of academics, I am a yoga enthusiast and runner. I enjoy hiking with my 90 pound mutt named Huckleberry, who himself enjoys chasing deer and rolling in mud puddles. I am also an avid painter, mostly in acrylics and watercolor.
