I have a Master's Degree in Secondary Education, two Bachelors in English and Psychology, and have won a Spotlight Award for Outstanding Teachers from Stamford Public Schools, where I currently work. I can tutor English for 9th-12th grade, all levels, and have experience working with many kinds of students, from AP to at-risk youth. I can also help prepare students for the SATs and increase their composition skills.
My goal is to make the study of English literature and composition accessible and fun, to help my students increase in confidence and engagement, and ultimately to prepare them as writers, readers, and thinkers for high school and beyond.
