I am a Bachelor's prepared registered nurse with current licenses in both NJ and MA. I went to nursing school at New York University and did my clinical placements throughout Manhattan. I currently work outpatient in Endocrine and with cardiac patients in a Coumadin clinic in MA. Before moving to Boston, I worked as a bedside nurse in a teaching hospital in NJ for 5 years. My clinical experiences include medical surgical nursing, cardiology, orthopedics, and neurology.
I have familiarity with the Kaplan NCLEX prep courses, and am telemetry and CPR certified. While working in the hospital, I served as a charge nurse on my unit, and worked as a preceptor for new graduate nurses starting on the floor. I have also worked as a clinical instructor for senior year nursing students. Since becoming a nurse, helping students through the challenges of nursing school is something I have always wanted to do. Teaching truly is my passion.
