I have lots of personal anecdotes and stories to share, which I use to teach the subject matter. Students enjoy my approach as I make learning Spanish fun and easy. I was a Latin American Studies and Spanish major at George Mason University, and a bilingual Air Traffic Controller at Howard AFB, Panama (USAF). Shortly after returning from Panama, I was hired by the Department of Justice as a Spanish Language Specialist and worked in Washington, DC, before transferring to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). My continuing education is mostly via travel and through my music business, which keep me up-to-date and connected to the Hispanic culture. I have travelled extensively throughout Spain and Latin America, and serve as an interpreter in Guatemala for Catholic Charities Proyecto San Pedro (medical mission). As a bilingual music producer I am a 22-year voting member of the Latin Grammys and still trying to get my first. Maybe 2019?
