Hello
I'm a former business manager who has experience teaching people in groups and one-on-one. I've tutored students in subjects ranging from high school math, science and computer programming to college level statistics, finance and accounting. I've also developed many employees into higher positions and trained management-level personnel as a professional business manager. Recently I have hosted several workshops at local libraries in Denver focused on video game programming that were well received and attended.
Even though I have a great history working with people and documented references there is still more I have to offer than just my experience and teaching ability. I have invested in resources like study guides and practice exams for SAT and ACT tests so that you don't necessarily have to. I will go over the guide materials and practice tests with you and share my access to these awesome resources to give you the best possible chance to succeed. If there is a practice exam or study guide that I don't have I can usually acquire it!
My teaching philosophy is based around helping people understand concepts by making things memorable and teaching test-taking skills to prepare my students for all exams. I try to relate complex concepts to things students are familiar with and by making funny examples that are easy to remember. For example I might relate balancing equations in chemistry to distributing gear on a sports team. I'll do whatever it takes to help get your scores as high as they can get!
