I have a very diverse teaching background having travelled all over the world teaching. I began my teaching career in elementary education teaching within the public school system in the Valparaiso region of Chile, teaching in two elementary schools and one high school. I then moved into a Corporate Language Trainer position in Surabaya Indonesia, working within companies and also working with college students majoring in English. Subsequently, I spent a brief stint in Guatemala where I found it too dangerous to stay before settling into San Pedro Mexico, a wealthy suburb of Monterrey, where I spent many years as a middle school Language Arts teacher at an international school. During this time I facilitated an after school debate club, and tutored a wide variety of students ranging from international students, to prepping high school students getting ready to go onto college in the US. I am well versed in the areas of spelling, grammar, reading, writing, and public speaking.
