I have my Bachelor's degree in Social Justice and my Master's degree in Critical Pedagogy. I completed both of these degree to inform my work in supporting my community members in having equal access to resources and opportunities. I am currently a GED Instructor who has mastery of all of the K-12 common core standards and who understands the importance of earning a high school diploma. Prior to my current role, I was a Special Education Teacher for a self-contained classroom of 6-8th graders. In all of my teaching roles, I have created and taught curriculum for every core subject. I know how to implement accommodations for students with disabilities and many methods for supporting them in achieving their educational goals.
