Welcome! I have a doctorate in clinical psychology and work in the field of Pediatric Neuropsychology. I have also been a long-time test-prep tutor, specializing in the Graduate Record Exam (GRE). I am also a published writer and excellent editor (e.g., Resume and Curriculum Vitae writing, Cover Letters, College Admissions, etc.), and I am committed to the success of those I work with.
My students are guaranteed relaxed and enjoyable sessions filled with patience, motivation, and a commitment to their goals. With 10+ years of tutoring experience, I consider myself an expert and have had the pleasure of helping my students realize their potential and see drastic increases in their test scores and overall confidence.
My goal is to teach you how to approach every question type, recognize exactly what is being asked, and know how to break down each problem into manageable steps. Regardless of where you are in the process, (whether you've just decided to apply for graduate school or college and know nothing about standardized testing, have already taken the exam but not yet reached your target score, or somewhere in between) I guarantee that by test day, you'll feel confident and prepared to answer each question that you are presented.
My personal journey has included dedication, many hours of study, and a realization that enjoying the process to reach one’s goals and understanding the importance of work-life balance play a critical role in overall success. Although I'm very friendly, my style of tutoring is focused on effectiveness, efficiency, and taking your test prep to the next level. I take my position as a tutor very seriously and enjoy working with motivated students. I look forward to working together to help you achieve success!
