About Linda

My name is Linda Spatz. I am currently a retired Guidance Counselor and Secondary school Teacher who has worked for LAUSD for more than twenty years. I love working with students grades 6-11 . I offer academic tutoring in reading and history. Because of my counseling background I also provide sessions to help enhance social skills, peer relationships. and conflict resolution. I believe with patience, and positive reinforcement students CAN succeed.

In addition, I have volunteered as a "Big Sister" mentoring a teen needing friendship and emotional support. I have worked with special needs students at all age levels and feel tremendous satisfaction when I see the progress they can achieve.
