Hello! I am currently a second grade teacher looking to do some tutoring as well. This is my fourth year teaching second grade, so I have extensive knowledge of elementary education and Common Core standards. I have a Masters Degree in Educational Studies from Loyola Marymount University, which included graduate level classes on reading intervention. I also have a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education, and feel qualified to tutor any student grades K-5. Finally, I also studied Spanish and lived in Latin America for over two years, so I am bilingual and happy to work with Spanish-Speaking families.
