I have 25 years as Nurse Practitioner with work in Family Practice, Pediatrics, Psychopharmacology, Pain Management, and Chronic Disease diagnosis, treatment, & management as well as in ICU / CCU / TCU / ER and Public Health & as a School Nurse.
I have a number of degrees prior to family practice that included graduate work in biological sciences, marine biology & natural history, vertebrate & invertebrate anatomy, physiology, & morphology as well as micro-technique and developmental biology with cell ultra-structure & microbiology, along with botany and plant sciences that including work in tissue culture and computer assisted morphology research.
I have worked as an instructor at the university level as well as in high school, middle school, and special education with multiple handicapped, emotionally disturbed, and have been trained in secondary education as well with history of student teaching.
I use an inductive and context style of teaching and work for mastery by students through dialogue, discovery and learning to ask questions and find answers as a life-long learner.
