I possess more than ten years of progressive experience in the education/tutoring field. My professional history includes positions such as tutoring at Applied Scholastics and West Hills Community College as well as The Mediator Mentors program -“Peer Mediation Conflicts Resolution” at California State University, Fresno.
Most recently, my responsibilities as a tutor/educator at Applied Scholastics included, helping students solve their academic deficiencies in reading, math and language arts, as well as to motivate and engage students in their education and to help students become independent lifelong learners by teaching them how to learn, "Learning how to Learn."
I assisted in the successful completion of helping the most students in their academic success in my chapter. My supervisor also relied on my abilities to communicate effectively, to have great public speaking as well as organization skills. Good team building, project management and system analysis skills as well as the ability to interact with a wide variety of cultures.
