In 2008, I obtained my Bachelor’s degree from the University of San Francisco where I majored in Visual Arts and minored in Sociology with an emphasis in Gender and Sexuality Studies. Upon completion of my studies at USF, I began tutoring and mentoring students at the junior college and university levels in English/Literature, Art History, Sociology, and Theology/Religious Studies.
During that time, I also took my first teaching position at an after school learning center where I instructed K-8 students in English and Creative Writing. I continued to serve as a private tutor in the South Bay and Peninsula for K-12 and college students while working as a tutor, paraeducator, and English and History instructor at Stratford Preparatory School, Trinity School, and Fusion Academy, respectively. Presently, I am an Academic Research Writer with extensive experience in editing, proofreading, and composing academic research essays. I also serve as a college admission essay consultant, editor, and writer.
Athough I have mostly taught in the traditional, on-ground format to students either in group sessions or one-on-one, I have also worked privately with elementary, high school, and university students via Skype for the past four years now. That said, I am available to conduct tutoring sessions either in-person or online.
