Hi! My name is Aaliya. I have a Bachelors degree from UCLA in Psychobiology and a Masters degree from USC in Global Medicine. Along with freelance tutoring, I have worked as a writing coach, youth leadership mentor, medical assistant, and currently work as a part-time behavioral therapist. I love working with young people to help them achieve their goals and become the best version of themselves. I have more than 8 years of tutoring experience, having helped students with algebra, pre-calculus, biology, psychology, and writing! I am especially passionate about finding creative study methods that will allow my students to achieve the most from their learning. This includes coming up with our own mnemonic devices, study sheets, and schedules that will keep each student on track for success. Having attained two degrees in subjects that have covered everything from biology, medicine, sociology, psychology, and ethics, I am determined to help my students find a passion for their learning the same way I did.
