I graduated with B.A. and M.A. degrees in Art History with emphasis in Education from the Philosophy and Literature School at the University of Buenos Aires in Argentina. After moving to the US, I completed my M.B.A. with an emphasis in Finance at Loyola University New Orleans College of Business. I love teaching kids and taught students in Elementary and Middle School in Math, English, Spanish, and ESL for the last 10 years. I taught Spanish to English speakers and English to Spanish speakers, which gives me a thorough understanding of both languages. My approach consists of adapting my teaching technique to a child’s learning style and needs. I have a “you CAN do it!” attitude and effectively communicate this to my students.
I'm also excited to help build the City Kids newsroom for the Spanish Immersion Program. I worked as host and executive producer for PBS TV and enjoy using comedy as a vehicle to communicate and tell stories. I've also been a competitive swimmer for 15 years and have taught and trained kids and adults in martial arts. I'm passionate about kids being able to defend themselves.
