I have a MSc in Physics, my research experience is in astrophysics, specifically analyzing stellar atmospheres, stellar evolution and sources of gravitational waves like black holes and neutron stars. I'm from El Salvador, so my native language it's Spanish. I started tutoring when I was on my third year of college back in El Salvador. My dad (who's also a physicist) worked as a teacher for 40 years, I dare to say I inherited my passion for teaching from him. The first student I had, was a middle school student, who used to fail math every year, his mom contacted me and we started working together on a regular basis, by the end of the year he was one of the best students of his class , now he has a degree in marketing and he's a very successful professional. Once he told me that the most important thing he had learned by working together with myself was to trust his capacity and never doubt of his intelligence, and that's what I try to teach to all of my students, that they are capable of achieving their goals but first we must work hard to get them.
Since that first student, I have had a lot much more than I can remember, I have also taught at college level the subjects of mathematics, calculus, physics and astronomy. Back in my country we have a gifted kids program, I worked in the program teaching modern physics, classical mechanics and electromagnetism. Because of my work in that program I was awarded with a Fulbright scholarship to attend Washington State University, where I used to tutor athletes who needed help with physics and as a teaching assistant for the astronomy class.
If you need help to improve your knowledge in math and science, do not hesitate to contact me, it will be my pleasure to work with you. I have time flexibility just contact me and we can settle the best schedule for you.
