Hey! I'm a little new to being a tutor, but I make up for it in understanding how Zoom & e-learning has changed the way we perceive & create our work. I recognize the importance of finding learning habits that optimize the way your mind already works, not trying to change it to operate in a way that feels unnatural or uncomfortable. There is no "normal" way to learn, and I hope to work with students to help them reach their best potential without sacrificing what makes them unique. To back myself up: I received a 31 on the ACT and 5s in AP Psychology and AP Language & Composition tests, along with having a 3.7 unweighted GPA at college graduation & a three-year degree with 5 Dean's Awards for academic performance. On top of that, I was able to study abroad at the University of Maastricht in the Netherlands to receive a diploma in Psychology & Neuroscience, which was primarily Socratic- and essay-based. I would be happy to help guide people through essay structure, writing preparation, and general concept breakdowns as needed in Psychology, English, or overall academic preparation.
