About Emily

Emily has tutored (K-12th grade students) as well as university level students and Corporate Executives/Working Professionals in Silicon Valley and abroad in Hong Kong for the past 10 years. She has tutored not only English Language Learners but Native English speakers at every level of English proficiency and comprehension.

Emily graduated with a B.A. from the Ivy-League-caliber liberal arts school, Wellesley College, in Wellesley, MA where she majored in English studies.

She is equipped to teach everything from Phonics, Creative/Essay Writing, Grammar, Reading Comprehension to Public Speaking at the kindergarten and elementary school level as well English language and literature skills for middle and high school students. This includes, grammar, vocabulary building, essay writing, public speaking/speech as well as all test preps
(PSAT, SAT/ACT, college essay prep, as well as AP English).

Having taught at prestigious schools, learning centers, and private tutorials with original curricula as well as given materials, Emily brings in a well-seasoned plethora of experiences.
