I am currently a student at Westmont College studying Kinesiology on the pre-med track. I have 3+ years of extensive experience tutoring students of various ages in different subjects. Due to the conceptual and extensive nature of my pre-med courses, I have a strong foundational understanding in mathematics and the sciences. I believe in better understanding how my students learn and using it to their advantage. As a result, my goal as a tutor is to not only help my students simply retain material which they are learning, but to help them create their own "tools of learning" and understand how to use them to engage with everyday situations. My mission is to tailor to each students' needs and teach them how to confidently use their tools to tackle more complex problems in an efficient and effective manner.
