Hi everyone, I am a student at the California State University of San Marcos working on obtaining my degree in kinesiology with an emphasis in physical education. I have over 7 years of tutoring experience. Previously, I was an AVID high school tutor aiding students in geometry and algebra and working individually with 5th graders. Currently, I am an instructional assistant working with kindergarten through 8th grade at San Diego Cooperative Charter School. I can assist in the successful commitment to furthering students’ educational careers, provide students with educational stability, and encourage high academic achievement. As a tutor, it helps if I provide the use of every day or real-world situations as examples when I tutor in math to help give the student a better understanding of the lesson. My goal is for each student that I teach to help further their knowledge of each lesson that is brought to me in a fun and professional manner and to answer any and all questions that are brought to my attention.
