I have always had a passion for teaching and inspiring others. Some of my earliest memories include teaching my classmates to read in first grade. My love for helping others continued through grade school, middle school, high school, college and beyond. I have experience tutoring in mathematics and Spanish and mentoring at-risk youth.
During my time at University of North Texas, I majored in Electrical Engineering and minored in Mathematics and Spanish. I was also involved in extracurricular activities including Kappa Delta Sorority where I held the position of VP Standards, IEEE Eta Kappa Nu Honor Society where I held the position of Vice President, Order of the Engineer, Chemistry Club, Order of Omega and the UNT Bass Fishing Club.
I currently work full time as an engineer at a medical device company where I mentor a high school intern, hold the chair position of the Veterans Committee and act as President of Toastmasters. In my spare time, I enjoy fishing, camping and baking.
