Teaching and tutoring is my passion. Nothing makes me happier and more content than when my students do well in exams. I have long teaching and tutoring experience from graduate school to high school level. As a PhD student at Rice University, I was a teaching assistant for undergraduate political science classes. I was also a tutor and instructor at Houston Community College and Texas Southern University. I taught in Japan at the University of the Ryukyus and did career advising in Japan, San Francisco and Minnesota. I also taught both undergrad and grad students at Golden Gate University in downtown San Francisco -- I was a research associate/post-doctoral fellow at the University of California, Berkeley at the same time. I am a devoted tutor and tutored more than 60 students for GED in Minnesota with a high success rate. I am ahead of current events, read nine newspapers a day and well versed in global and American politics, economics, world history and American history. I am also very fast in doing math and almost obsessed with English grammar. I am extrovert and multicultural. Being around students makes me happy.
