Hello, my name is Ellen and I am a recently certified high school chemistry teacher!
I have graduated at California State University, Fullerton in 2017 with a degree in biochemistry with emphasis in chemistry education. In 2019, I returned to the campus for the teaching credential program in chemistry to pursue my goal as a high school chemistry teacher.
On top of my educational background, I completed my one year of clinical experience as a student-teacher in high school. Some of the main responsibilities as a student-teacher were to build a positive rapport with students, independently lead the class, make a daily lesson plan, provide and grade assignments, and manage a classroom full of students with diverse backgrounds and learning styles.
I have accumulated countless hours of working as a private tutor as well. Over the past year, I taught middle and high school grade levels of math and science courses, such as geometry, algebra 1 & 2, life science, biology, and chemistry.
