I acquired a California teaching credential in math and taught in middle/high schools in the Bay Area. When I tutor, I aim for conceptual understanding before guiding the student to solve the problems at hand. I often check my student's understanding before moving on to the next topic. The parents say that I am patient and thorough. My teaching experience helps me to anticipate the mistakes students make so I call out the potential misunderstanding before they make them. I am happy to say that my students do improve in their learning and their grades.
