I have a bachelor's degree in English from The University of Maryland, where I won the Dean Manning Prize for Creative Writing. I taught middle school English for two years after graduating. As a young man I lived in Greenwich Village where I had a novel published by Simon and Schuster. I have lived in Santa Fe, New Mexico and more recently Los Angeles. I continue to write on a regular basis, now writing screenplays. I have a wife who is from Ecuador. I taught her to speak English. She is now a medical professional. We have a son who is in college, who auditions regularly as an actor. My vocabulary is strong, as are my communication skills. I have worked in high-end big-city restaurants as a waiter and manager. I was a favorite among the VIP clientele, celebrities among them. I have been known to be funny at times. I am down to earth. I would love to be able to help you as you make your way. I think you would find our interaction enjoyable.
