I have been a tutor for the past 28 years in the South Bay of Los Angeles. I conduct private one on one, in home tutoring from preschool through 4th grade in early math, and reading literacy. My expertise is in. phonemic and phonological awareness instruction, distinguishing letters to sounds, learning numbers, and writing skills. For the older grades, 5th grade to high school, I tutor organizational and study skills, in all subjects, and help with homework and test preparation. I am very engaged in every student I tutor, and encourage each one of my students to have more confidence to succeed academically. My personality is enthusiastic, motivating and patient. I make learning fun!
