Hello. I'm currently enrolled in a part-time J.D. curriculum as a 2nd year law student. I studied economics, math, and statistics in college. That inevitably motivated me to earn a bachelor's degree in economics, with honors, which then propelled me to apply to law school.
In law school, we don't spend significant time learning the law. The law is all on google, and before that, it was accessed through volumes of books. Instead, we learn to think critically by applying the law from various perspectives, and relentlessly keep our minds open.
As a tutor, I facilitate a patient and friendly environment, where my students feel comfortable expressing themselves and asking questions. I expect my students to be polite and work earnestly. Productive sessions, wherein I sense my students gained a practical benefit from our time, are the reason I chose to tutor.
