I am with a tutoring company called Academic Goals Inc. which emphasizes helping students with Language Arts and Math. I use this as an extra resource for pulling material so I have material can help fortify and even prepare students for the next grade. I engage with kids by building a strong relationship and being relatable which leads them to wanting to do homework and challenges with me. For more advance courses, I took Calculus 2 in high school and placed in the top 4% in math placement for my college placement exams.
Overall, my goal is not to have students grow a dependency on tutoring but to develop a method to self teaching.
