I graduated cum laude from Saint Mary's College of California with a Bachelor's in Psychology with an emphasis on adolescent and adult development. I taught Kindergarten for two years, and helped develop an ESL program. I am well versed in the common core subjects, and have my my Certificate in Teaching English to Young Learners. My preferred age range is pre k to 4th grade. I am passionate about instilling a love of learning in young learners so that they have a strong educational foundation to build on. I believe that each student is unique, and enjoy creating teaching methods that best suit each students' learning style. I think the best way to reach students is by creating fun, creative, and engaging lessons that help students stay on track.
For older students, I offer help with essay writing and proofreading. I served as editor in chief of my high school yearbook staff, and was selected as a finalist in an essay writing contest in college. I am also well versed in psychology and can provide tutoring in psychology related courses.
If any adult learners need help with ESL, I have my Teaching English to Speakers of other Languages Certificate.
Looking forward to working with you and helping any way I can!
