Mindlessly going over material with students or "banking" is a fruitless educational attempt. This is my philosophy: I believe education is a nuanced relationship between the student and teacher; there must be mutual respect and knowledge of each other's identity, beliefs, background, and other factors. I aim to understand what my students are going through so I can best help their needs.
