Hi! I graduated from Pepperdine University in 2009 with a BA in Media Production and again in 2014 with a MA in Media Production.
I have worked with children in a mentor program, an orphanage, through babysitting, and through tutoring on Wyzant and a learning center. My hobbies include reading, movies, exploring new cities, interior design and spending quality time with my family and friends. My dad is a professor and it has been neat to watch him impact students' lives throughout the years. Although I am personally a visual learner, I understand the need to adapt teaching to specific learning styles and my graduate work in media taught me to tell stories and explain concepts in varied ways. I'm also passionate about helping gifted students explore outside interests through independent learning projects and would love to help your child development and complete a project that they are truly excited about. I love learning and teaching, especially when students understand a new concept for the first time or in a different way!
