An avid bookworm, I've always loved reading and writing. As I got older, I realized how passionate I was about helping others discover this joy too. After graduating UC Berkeley, I joined Teach For America, taught middle school English, then went on to earn my Masters at UCLA. I have experience teaching pre-k to adults, all levels, abilities, and locations.
My goal in teaching is to empower students to become confident learners. To that end, I emphasize critical thinking, creativity, collaboration and communication skills in addition to problem-solving skills. With ten years of combined experience as a classroom teacher, school librarian, adjunct professor, private tutor, and professional editor, I am excited to help you meet your academic goals!
