I have 2 associate degrees in psychology and child/adolescent development. I have been working with elementary students since 2017. I worled at 109th street elementary school in Watts where we focused on closing the "gap" so students would feel motivated/excited to go to school each day. I am now very skilled in creating lesson plans in both ELA/math that are adjusted to each student based on previous academic performance.
I am currently working for colton joint unified school distict as an instructional assistant. I focus on ELD 1st-3rd graders who have fallen behind due to the pandemic.
