I recently graduated from the University of Oxford with a masters in Philosophical Theology. Previously, I had graduated with a BA in Philosophy from Westmont College. My areas of interest include Metaphysics, Epistemology, Logic, and Philosophy of Religion.
In addition to coursework in philosophy from my undergraduate studies and at Oxford, I have spent time studying philosophy through summer programs at Carnegie Mellon University and Brown University.
My 2 years of teaching experience includes working for the Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth as a Teaching Assistant for a course in Logic and Philosophy. I also have experience in tutoring and leading study sessions for students taking a variety of courses within philosophy, including Critical Thinking, Logic, Ethics, Ancient Philosophy, Medieval Philosophy, Modern Philosophy, Metaphysics, Philosophy of Religion, Philosophy of Mind, and Free Will. I am passionate about helping students understand difficult concepts within philosophy!
As a writer, I have presented my papers at several philosophy conferences and have also had one of my papers published in a philosophy journal. In addition to my in-person and online tutoring, I also welcome students to also send me essays for me to provide comments and feedback on.
